Turkmen designer Govher Gouvernet-Pirkuliyeva presented a joint collection with French couturier Claude Patrick at the Oriental Fashion Show, held Feb. 4–8 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, according to the event’s social media accounts.
The collaboration combined elements of traditional Turkmen textile heritage with contemporary European fashion approaches. The show was part of the international Oriental Fashion Show program, which aims to promote dialogue among designers from different countries and cultures.
Gouvernet-Pirkuliyeva is known for designs that blend national motifs with a modern aesthetic. Her professional background includes education and work experience in Paris and St. Petersburg, as well as participation in international projects.
As part of the collaboration, Patrick emphasized clean lines and modern silhouettes, creating a balanced collection that reflects both cultural and design influences.
Founded in 2004, Oriental Fashion Show is an international fashion project dedicated to haute couture and Eastern fashion. Over the years, it has showcased more than 100 designers from 50 countries and continues to promote cross-cultural exchange in the fashion industry.
