President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov on Friday in Ashgabat participated in the opening ceremony of a Garagum hotel with a multi-purpose business center.
The solemn event gathered parliamentarians of the country, government officials, representatives of public organizations and the media.
The new hotel – located on an area of 6.9 hectares at the intersection of A. Niyazov Avenue and Hoja Ahmet Yasawi Street – consists of a central building and two side buildings. The complex also includes a white yurt.
The hotel has more than 80 rooms, including standard, suite, luxury and super luxury suits. The hotel also houses restaurants, a banquet hall, swimming pools, a fitness room and a tennis court.
The Turkish company Rönesans has carried out the construction of the Garagum hotel, which started in August 2018 in accordance with the Decree of the President of Turkmenistan.
