The Delegation of the European Union (EU) in Turkmenistan held an eco-action on the shore of Gokdepe Lake on Saturday. The journalists of Business Turkmenistan also took part in the campaign.
The event, which was organized jointly with the Nature Conservation Society of Turkmenistan, also gathered numerous volunteers, members of the Agama Mountaineering Club and members of the Frisbee Club in Turkmenistan.
The EU Ambassador to Turkmenistan Diego Ruiz Alonso stated the important role of youth participation in organizing the event and thanked the volunteers.
The members of the Agama Mountaineering Club also conducted master classes on first aid and sports games.
In April, the EU Delegation in Turkmenistan, on the occasion of the International Earth Day, organized an eco-action to clean the Kelete Cave.
The EU Delegation in Turkmenistan opened in June 2019.
