Turkmenistan Hosts International Oil and Gas Exhibition
International exhibition "Oil and Gas of Turkmenistan-2022" gathered more than 50 companies with operations in energy sector.

International exhibition "Oil and Gas of Turkmenistan-2022" (OGT-2022) kicked off at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Turkmenistan in Turkmenistan’s capital Ashgabat on Wednesday morning. The international conference of the same title will start at the second half of the day, the official Turkmen media reports.

In the congratulatory letter to the exhibition and conference participants, President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov said, “I am sure that this large-scale forum, designed to acquaint the world community with the successes of the oil and gas industry of Turkmenistan and promote mutual exchange of experience with foreign partners in this field, will significantly increase the production, processing and diversification of energy supplies to international markets!”

The exhibition gathered more than 50 companies with operations in energy sector, including SOCAR, CNPC, Gaffney Cline, Schlumberger, Dragon Oil, Mitro International, Areti International Group, Buried Hill, ENI Turkmenistan Limited, Yug-Neftegaz Private Limited, Haldor Topsoe, Çalık Enerji, Mitsubishi Corporation, Siemens Energy LLC, Sumitomo Corporation Europe Ltd.

The international conference OGT-2022 will feature discussions on such topics as global trends in the development of the fuel and energy sector, implementation of regional project, including the TAPI gas pipeline, and attracting investment in the Turkmen sector of the Caspian Sea and prospects for gas chemical projects.

2022
