Businesses in Turkmenistan’s Lebap Province Increase Food Production
The businessmen of the region sold 34 tons of beef in January-February, 2023.

Food producers from Lebap province of Turkmenistan increased the production of meat, eggs and milk products in January-February, 2023, the official Turkmen media reported on Thursday.

The businessmen of the region sold 34 tons of beef in January-February, 2023. This figure is 15 percent higher than in the same period last year.

The amount of meat produced at Berektli Jay company in Danev district was 2.2 tons. Entrepreneur Sergey Kulyapin sent 5.2 tons of this food to the domestic market. Businessman Jorakuly Hemrayev’s production outlet amounted to 1.7 tons.

Recently, 1 million 934 thousand eggs were produced in private chicken farms. In the first two months of 2023, Eshret chicken farm produced 1 million 36.8 thousand eggs.

During the corresponding period, businessman Bakhtiyar Achilov sent 565.6 thousand eggs to retail outlets. The poultry farm of Ýunus Daýhan company collected 226.4 thousand eggs.

Moreover, businessmen from eastern province produced 302.5 tons of milk and cattle breeders of Berektli Jay supplied more than 54 tons of milk to the domestic market in the past two months.

Bahtiyar Seyidov, a businessman from Charjev district, manufactured 30 tons of milk. Taji Tajiyev's cattle farm produced 18.6 tons of milk and businesswoman Patma Jumayeva's - 20 tons.

The total volume of processed milk produced by Lebap businesses was approximately 18 tons.
