Turkmenistan, Azerbaijan, Türkiye to Establish Consultative Commission on Customs Cooperation

Governments of Turkmenistan, Azerbaijan and Türkiye signed a Memorandum of Understanding to establish a Joint Consultative Commission on Customs Cooperation, APA news agency reported on Thursday.

President Ilham Aliyev signed a decree approving the Memorandum of Understanding between the Government of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the Government of the Republic of Türkiye and the Government of Turkmenistan on the establishment of the Joint Consultative Commission on Customs Cooperation.

The agreement was reached during the First Summit of the Heads of State of Turkmenistan, Azerbaijan, and Türkiye, held on February 14, 2022, at the Avaza National Tourism Zone.  

The meeting was attended by the President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov, President Ilham Aliyev of Azerbaijan, and President Recep Tayyip Erdogan of Türkiye, as well as the respective heads of ministries and departments from the three countries.
