Cattle-breeding Complex from Mary Produces 150 Tons of Meat Annually

Member of the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan, businessman Gurbanmuhammet Myradov heads a private cattle breeding complex, which produces 150 tons of meat products a year, the Rysgal newspaper reported on Monday.

The cattle complex is located on 10 hectares of land allocated by the state on a long-term basis in the Murgap district of Mary province.

The cattle complex is home to a herd of about 300 large-breed cattle and 400 smaller-breed cattle. Dozens of specialists work in the complex to care for the animals.

According to report, the annual milk production in the complex is 100 tons.

350 hectares of land are covered with pastures that grow silage crops such as corn, alfalfa and barley.
