President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov on Saturday signed into law a number of legislative documents, the country’s official media reports.
Among the adopted legislative acts are the Law of Turkmenistan on Establishing the Medal of Turkmenistan “Arkadag”, a number of legal documents concerning Turkmenistan's international relations, namely on Ratification of the Agreement between the Government of Turkmenistan and the Government of the State of Qatar on Mutual Encouragement and Protection of Investments, on Approval of the Agreement between the Government of Turkmenistan and the Government of Hungary on Encouragement and Mutual Protection of Investments. The parliament also adopted laws on accession to the Convention on Early Notification of a Nuclear Accident, on accession to the Convention on Assistance in the Case of a Nuclear Accident or Radiological Emergency and on accession to the Agreement for the establishment of the International Anti-Corruption Academy as an international organization.
Turkmen President also signed Law of Turkmenistan on Accession to the Basic Multilateral Agreement on International Transport for the Development of the Transport Corridor Europe-Caucasus-Asia.
President Berdimuhamedov also signed laws on Amendments to the Law of Turkmenistan on State Awards of Turkmenistan, on Amendments to the Law of Turkmenistan on Court, on Amendments and Additions to the Customs Code of Turkmenistan, on Amendments to the Law of Turkmenistan on Regulation and Control of Monetary Circulation in Foreign Economic Relations, on Amendments and Additions to Certain Laws of Turkmenistan.
The drafts of these laws were considered and adopted by the deputies at the third session of the seventh convocation of the Turkmen parliament Mejlis on Saturday.
