President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov has sent condolences to President of the Italian Republic Sergio Mattarella over the bus crash near the city of Venice, which caused numerous human casualties and injuries, the official Turkmen media reported on Wednesday.
On behalf of the people and the Government of the country, as well as on his own behalf, the Turkmen President conveyed words of deep empathy and support to the families and friends of the victims, as well as wishes for speedy recovery of the injured.
The bus accident occurred on October 3 near Venice, Italy.
According to TASS, the bus crash resulted in the death of 21 people and injury of 18.
