Toyota announced the debut of the next-generation 2025 Toyota Camry in the United States. This upcoming model will be exclusively offered with a hybrid powertrain, Toyota's press service reports.
Toyota will provide the 2024 Toyota Camry with a 2.5-litre hybrid engine available in two configurations: front-wheel drive with 168 kW power output and all-wheel drive with 173 kW power output. The vehicle is anticipated to be released in the second half of 2024.
Toyota has stated that the hybrid system in the 2025 Toyota Camry will incorporate lighter and more compact electric motors compared to the current model, along with a more advanced battery system.
Base models will feature an 8.0-inch centre touchscreen and a 7.0-inch digital driver display, while higher-end cars will have 12.3-inch displays.
As reported, the upcoming Camry will come with a comprehensive range of active driver assistance systems for enhanced safety. Additionally, it will offer luxurious features, including a JBL audio system, leather trim, and a surround-view camera.
In August this year, Toyota Japan introduced the new Land Cruiser 250, the Prado. This updated model will be available with various petrol and diesel powertrains, including the option of a hybrid variant.
