Batyr Amanov, Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan, who oversees the country's fuel and energy complex, reported during an online government meeting on Friday that the growth rate of liquefied gas production by the oil refineries of the "Türkmennebit" (Turkmen Oil) State Concern in January of the current year was 109.6 percent.
According to the official Turkmen media, the Deputy Prime Minister noted that during the reporting period, the plan for oil and gas condensate production was fulfilled at 100.3 percent, and the oil production plan by the State Concern "Türkmennebit" was at 100.1 percent.
Batyr Amanov added that the plan for oil processing at the oil refineries of the "Türkmennebit" State Concern was fulfilled at 101.9 percent, the gasoline production plan at 101.1 percent, diesel fuel at 104 percent, polypropylene at 103.5 percent, and lubricating oils at 114.5 percent.
President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov emphasized the need to increase the efficiency of geological and drilling operations, giving specific instructions to the Deputy Prime Minister.
During the government meeting, Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers for Construction and Industry of the country, Baymyrat Annamammedov, highlighted that since the beginning of 2024, the "Türkmenhimiýa" State Concernhas produced products and completed works totaling 176 million manats, exceeding the plan by 137.7 percent.
