The combined transit volume of Turkmen and Kazakh oil through the Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan (BTC) pipeline in January reached 17.3% of the total pumping volume.
According to Azerbaijan's State Statistics Committee, reported by Interfax-Azerbaijan last Wednesday, the transit share of Turkmenistan and Kazakhstan's oil amounted to 430.8 thousand tons.
During the reporting period, the oil pumping volume through the Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan (BTC) pipeline was 2.48 million tons, which is 1.9% lower than the January 2023 figure.
The overall transit volume of oil from Turkmenistan and Kazakhstan through the Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan pipeline in 2023 reached 5.24 million tons.
