In Turkmenbashi city of Balkan region, plans are underway for the construction of an administrative building for the Communication Center, along with the improvement of its adjacent areas.
As reported by Turkmenistan's official media, Mammethan Chakyyev, the General Director of Transport and Communications Agency under the Cabinet of Ministers, disclosed on the activities carried out by the Türkmenaragatnaşyk (Turkmen Communications) agency for the development of the transportation and communication complex, as well as for the construction of the planned administrative building for the Communication Center in Turkmenbashi city of Balkan region.
President of Turkmenistan, Serdar Berdimuhamedov, emphasized the country's commitment to strengthening the material and technical base of the transportation and communication complex, as well as to creating comfortable working conditions for industry employees.
The Head of State stressed that the effective development of the communication sector will contribute to the modernization of high-quality specialized services provided and instructed the General Director of the Agency to continue relevant work in this direction.
As part of its mission, the Türkmenaragatnaşyk agency operates in areas such as local and cellular communication, internet, postal services, digital economy, cybersecurity, satellite communication, national broadcasting and radio broadcasting, as well as specialist training.
