President of Turkmenistan, Serdar Berdimuhamedov, met with the President of the Republic of Tatarstan, Russian Federation, Rustam Minnikhanov, who arrived in the country to attend celebrations for the National Day of the Turkmen Horse, as reported by Turkmenistan's official media.
Rustam Minnikhanov confirmed the interest of Tatarstan's business community in expanding its presence in the promising Turkmen market. He also noted the favorable investment atmosphere and Turkmenistan's international status as a reliable partner committed to its obligations.
During the meeting, the parties discussed the current state and prospects of further cooperation, taking into account the interests of national economies and the extensive experience of many years of joint work in implementing various large-scale projects.
At the conclusion of the meeting, the participants exchanged mutual good wishes, affirming the steadfastness of traditionally friendly bilateral relations.
Following the festivities for the National Day of the Turkmen Horse at the International Akhal-Teke Equestrian Complex, The National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, also met with Rustam Minnikhanov, President of the Republic of Tatarstan, Russian Federation.
During the conversation, the National Leader reiterated the country's desire for active cooperation with Tatarstan, aimed at developing multi-dimensional partnership within the framework of the strategic partnership with fraternal Tatarstan and the Russian Federation.
