President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov met with Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin in Ashgabat on Friday, who arrived for a visit to participate in the regular meeting of the Council of Heads of Government of the CIS. The parties discussed the continuation of cooperation in the construction of Russian schools and the opening of branches of institutes and universities, as reported by TASS.
"The meeting with the respected President of Turkmenistan, Serdar Gurbangulyevich Berdimuhamedov, took place, as always, in a very warm, friendly atmosphere. We thoroughly discussed our entire bilateral agenda. We noted that the growth of our trade and economic cooperation continues steadily," Mishustin said in a comment after the meeting.
Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin also discussed humanitarian cooperation with President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov, including the further construction of Russian-language schools in the republic, as well as the development of regional ties.
President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov also received the Prime Minister of the Kyrgyz Republic and Head of the Presidential Administration Akylbek Japarov.
