The International Forum "The Interconnection of Times and Civilizations – the Foundation of Peace and Development," dedicated to the 300th anniversary of the great Eastern poet and philosopher Magtymguly Pyragy, has commenced in Ashgabat.
According to Turkmenistan’s official media on Friday, the forum promises to be a unique platform for discussing universal values that shape the formula for peace and interstate dialogue, based on the principles of trust, mutual respect, understanding, and equal cooperation.
Particular attention is drawn to the impressive lineup of high-level delegates, including the Presidents of the Russian Federation, Armenia, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan, Mongolia, as well as the Islamic Republics of Pakistan and Iran. The head of the Republic of Tatarstan is also among the participants.
The forum is graced by prominent guests such as the Speaker of the Grand National Assembly of Türkiye, the Secretary General of the CIS, the Secretary General of the Economic Cooperation Organization, the Secretary General of the Organization of Turkic States, and the Secretary General of TURKSOY.
Delegates also include representatives from UNESCO, the SCO, the OIC, and ministries and agencies of several countries, including China, the UAE, the Sultanate of Oman, Saudi Arabia, the Kingdom of Bahrain, and the Chair of the France–Central Asia Friendship Group.
