The Garabogazkarbamid plant, located in the Balkan velayat in western Turkmenistan, produced about 994,000 tons of urea from January to November of this year, achieving 101.2% of its planned volume.
Approximately 75,000 tons went to the domestic market, while 1,017,000 tons were exported, according to the Wednesday edition of the newspaper Turkmenistan.
These figures indicate that the chemists of Garabogaz are confidently on track to exceed the annual plan of 1,090,000 tons.
Large-scale investment projects underway in Turkmenistan promote the effective use of hydrocarbon resources. Their processing results in the production of in-demand products, including mineral fertilizers and petrochemical products, strengthening the country's position as a reliable international partner.
Founded in September 2018, the plant features advanced technology from Denmark, Italy, Germany, and the United States.
