On Saturday, Ashgabat hosted the Turkmen-Mongolian Business Forum, aimed at strengthening business ties and expanding cooperation between the two countries in sectors such as trade, economy, healthcare, transportation, logistics, agriculture, and processing industries, as reported by Turkmenistan's official media.
The forum brought together representatives from ministries, agencies, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan, as well as leaders of private companies from both countries.
A key focus of the discussions was the development of the agro-industrial sector. Turkmen representatives highlighted significant advancements in this field, including modernization and the adoption of innovative technologies.
Participants also explored prospects for enhancing bilateral cooperation, emphasizing the importance of experience exchange and establishing direct contacts between private companies. Mongolian business representatives praised Turkmenistan’s stable legal framework, which creates favorable conditions for foreign investors.
Both sides expressed confidence that the outcomes of the forum would give a new impetus to the development of relations between Turkmenistan and Mongolia.
Previously, Turkmenistan and Mongolia signed a series of bilateral agreements.
