On Saturday in Ashgabat, President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov met with his Mongolian counterpart Ukhnaagiin Khurelsukh. During the meeting, the leaders discussed key issues concerning bilateral relations, and following their talks, a signing ceremony for a series of bilateral documents took place, according to official Turkmen media.
In the presence of both heads of state, several important agreements were signed, including treaties between the governments of Turkmenistan and Mongolia on air and road transport, as well as cooperation in the areas of veterinary medicine, livestock, food, and agriculture.
Additionally, memoranda of understanding were signed regarding cultural cooperation, tourism, and between the chambers of commerce of the two nations.
A Joint Statement on interstate relations and cooperation between Turkmenistan and Mongolia was also adopted.
