The state energy corporation Türkmenenergo, under the Ministry of Energy, has been authorized to sign contracts with Sumitomo Corporation for the systemic enhancement of the material and technical base of gas turbine installations at the Lebap State Power Plant and other gas turbine power stations operating across Turkmenistan.
According to Turkmenistan’s official media, the relevant decree was signed by President Serdar Berdimuhamedov during the regular online Cabinet meeting on Friday.
This document aims to ensure the reliable operation of gas turbine units at the Lebap State Power Plant and to carry out necessary repair and technical maintenance.
Upon signing the decree, the head of state directed Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Baymyrat Annamammedov, through the digital system, to strictly oversee the implementation of the provisions outlined in the document.
