Aýdyň Gijeler, a leading Turkmen company, has launched the country’s first cable production facility catering to both domestic and international markets, Vladislav Admakin, head of the company’s project department, made the announcement at the «Construction, Industry, Energy of Turkmenistan – 2024» international exhibition in Ashgabat, as reported by the online publication SNG.Today on Monday.
The company developed the project in partnership with Chinese specialists and the German company Siemens Standard Motors LTD. The company’s products have received certification from European organizations, confirming their compliance with international safety standards.
Admakin highlighted that the new plant manufactures both aluminum and copper cables for low and medium voltage applications. With an annual production capacity of 80 million meters of cable, the facility is poised to meet growing demand in the region.
Looking ahead, Admakin added that Aýdyň Gijeler plans to expand its product range to include optical fiber cables, with an emphasis on using local raw materials.
The production line is equipped with automated machinery to produce cables with internal insulation and external armored protection. The company plans to continue expanding its product range by relying on innovative technologies and global expertise.
Founded in 2016 with the support of the Ministry of Industry and Construction of Turkmenistan, Aýdyň Gijeler is one of the country’s pioneering companies in the production of electrical and electronic products.
