Turkmenistan plans to open a new university under the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs (UIET) by September 2025, with construction managed by the private company Nur bina gurluşyk.
Vepa Melebayev, a representative of the company, reported that construction is 50 percent complete and finishing work is on schedule, as noted in Turkmenistan's official media on Friday.
The educational complex will accommodate 2,700 students and include six faculties, along with facilities such as a library, conference hall, spacious cafeteria, student dormitories, sports grounds, and parking areas, creating a multifunctional campus.
While several business schools already operate in Turkmenistan, this new institution will be the first university to offer in-depth education in entrepreneurship and business.
The project aims to prepare highly qualified specialists who can drive innovation and economic growth in the country, enhancing opportunities for the younger generation of Turkmenistan.
Founded in 2008, the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan (UIET) is a public organization dedicated to supporting small and medium-sized businesses in the country, promoting the development of the private sector of the national economy, and establishing a modern entrepreneurial infrastructure
