National Leader of the Turkmen People and Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov visited Balkan velayat on Monday to review plans for new facilities on the Caspian coast and oversee preparations for upcoming international events, as reported by the official media of Turkmenistan.
In the National Tourist Zone of Avaza, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty met with deputy prime ministers and heads of military and law enforcement agencies. They discussed construction plans, logistics, and the organization of an upcoming international forum.
Special attention was given to the development of transport infrastructure. The national leader of the Turkmen people visited the construction site of the bridge over the Garabogazgol Bay, which will be part of the Turkmenbashy – Garabogaz – Kazakhstan border route.
The meeting also addressed issues related to the reception of delegations, the cultural program, and youth participation in the international forum. Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov emphasized the need to adhere to high standards in its organization, noting its significance for the country's international image.
