In 2025, Turkmenistan plans to invest more than 3.9 billion manats in its construction sector. The funds will support major infrastructure projects, the modernization of industrial facilities, and the implementation of modern construction technologies, as reported by the official media of Turkmenistan on Wednesday.

The country is focusing on housing construction and modernization, as well as creating comfortable living conditions for its citizens. A key initiative is the development of housing for people with disabilities. Turkmenistan's urban policy prioritizes creating a safe and sustainable urban environment, with Ashgabat serving as a model for modern urban planning and development.

The 2025 program includes the construction of 500,000 square meters of housing, schools for 4,620 students, and kindergartens with 2,000 spaces. New residential complexes will also be built in the capital and regions. Modern villages will be completed in the Öňaldy and Gowşut districts of Ahal velayat and new settlements in the Gyzylarbat district of Balkan velayat.

Key projects for 2025 include an automobile bridge across the Garabogazköl Bay, an international terminal in the village of Jebel, and a section of the Mary-Turkmenabat high-speed highway on the Ashgabat-Turkmenabat route. The construction of a higher education institution under the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs is also set to finish in 2025.
