Senagat Plastik, a member of the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan, has expanded its product line by launching the production of polypropylene water filter cartridges, Balkan newspaper reported on Thursday.

The new filters are designed for water purification systems, including desalination units, and feature an innovative three-layer structure. This design significantly enhances their performance. Unlike single-layer filters, the new models effectively remove contaminants of various sizes, extending their service life and improving the quality of the filtered water.

The launch of the new water filter production line will help improve access to clean drinking water for the population and create new jobs. The introduction of modern technologies into the manufacturing process supports the company’s growth and contributes to the development of Turkmenistan’s private sector economy.

The company also continues to produce plastic pallets, which are in high demand due to their durability and resistance to aggressive chemicals. These pallets offer several advantages over wooden alternatives: they are reusable, do not absorb odors, do not retain moisture, and can be sanitized with hot steam. This is especially important in the food trade, where hygiene is a top priority.

Senagat Plastik’s pallet manufacturing plant was established in 2017 in the Turkmenbashi district of Balkan velayat. The facility has an annual production capacity of 480,000 pallets.
