The private enterprise Genç, specializing in beekeeping in Shabat district of Dashoguz velayat, has expanded its product range with two new honey varieties: Chocolate and White.
As reported by Türkmenistan newspaper on Wednesday, the new products, made from natural honey with added cocoa and royal jelly, have already gone on sale and sparked interest among consumers.
The company emphasizes that the new varieties were developed with modern consumer taste preferences in mind. The Chocolate Honey offers a rich flavor and serves as an alternative to traditional desserts, while the White Honey, with royal jelly is positioned as a valuable functional product.
Genç produces more than 5 tons of high-quality honey annually, sourced from environmentally clean areas of the province. In spring, beehives are placed in regions rich in flora — near Ruhubelent, Gorogly, and Akdepe — where bees collect nectar from cotton plants and wildflowers, forming the basis for natural honey.
The production process combines tradition with modern practices, utilizing innovative technologies, a quality control system, and the active introduction of new product formats.
The new products are already available at Genç’s branded retail outlets at the central bazaar in Dashoguz. The company plans to expand its product range and enter new markets.
Genç has been active in the beekeeping industry for about 10 years. Over this time, the company has built an extensive production infrastructure, including modern beehives, specialized equipment for honey extraction and filtration, as well as its own in-house quality control laboratory.
