Turkmen company Sahabatly, an agricultural enterprise based in Gokdepe district of Ahal velayat, is preparing to launch a new line of goat milk products designed to meet growing demand for natural and health-oriented foods, as reported by Neutral Turkmenistan newspaper on Tuesday.

The new products are expected to hit the domestic market soon, as the company continues to expand its production capabilities.

Sahabatly operates a fully integrated production cycle, from seed cultivation and feed supply to milk processing and packaging. The farm’s dairy products are currently sold across the domestic market.

Sahabatly currently processes 5.5 tons of milk daily, producing cheese, feta, ayran, pasteurized milk, and other dairy items, all using imported equipment. All production is carried out using imported equipment. According to Sahabatly, the upcoming goat milk product line represents the next step in expanding the company’s assortment.

To ensure sustainable farming, the company focuses on developing its own feed base. The farm cultivates alfalfa, corn, silage sorghum, and amaranth — crops that require less water. By reducing corn cultivation from 200–300 hectares to 50–100 hectares, Sahabatly has significantly lowered water consumption. The farm also grows rapeseed, whose meal is used in animal feed.

The Sahabatly livestock complex was inaugurated on June 25, 2014, with the participation of Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, the National Leader of the Turkmen People and Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan.
