Turkmen company Görkana ak ýol, a member of the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan, has launched the production of desks, chairs, and tables under the Görkana brand using locally sourced raw materials, as reported by Rysgal newspaper on Monday.
The company operates in an industrial zone in Ak Bugday district, Ahal Velayat, where dozens of young workers are employed. The facility is equipped with advanced machinery from Turkiye and Germany.
Currently, the company is capable of producing up to 20,000 chairs and 10,000 desks per month.
According to the report, the raw materials for the Görkana products are procured through contracts with the Turkmenbashi Complex of Oil Refineries.
The company plans to supply the products to the domestic market and, in the future, to export them to neighboring countries.
