The Nurly Meýdan farmers’ association has launched a hatchery complex with an annual capacity of 12 million chicks, Türkmenistan newspaper reported Thursday.

Located in Baharden district of Balkan province, the farm operates in poultry farming, crop production, and livestock breeding.

According to the report, the modern poultry complex spans 10 hectares and is designed to produce between 8 and 16 million eggs per year. All necessary conditions have been created for the proper care and breeding of chickens. Current daily production reaches 4,000 eggs.

Eggs and meat products under the Nurly Meýdan brand are distributed to retail outlets. The facility also includes a feed production plant with a capacity of 10 tons per hour, manufacturing hay and compound feed for farm animals.
