The Nurly Meýdan private farm, raises nearly 16,000 laying hens and produces between 200,000 and 250,000 chicks each month through artificial incubation, Rysgal newspaper reported on Monday.

Located in Bereket District of Turkmenistan’s Balkan velayat, the farm operates on a 50-hectare land plot allocated by the state. The site includes poultry production facilities focused on meat and egg output, as well as incubators for chick rearing.

The farm supplies more than 60 percent of the chicks required by Turkmenistan’s egg-producing poultry farms, ensuring the supply of chicks for the development of laying hens.

A large poultry complex at the facility has the capacity to produce 8,000 tons of chicken meat annually and includes divisions for producing 15 million table eggs and 15 million hatching eggs each year. Production operations at the facility meet all required standards.

In the egg-laying segment, the farm manages around 260,000 laying hens and collects approximately 130,000 to 140,000 eggs daily. The company plans to increase this number to 240,000 eggs per day in the future.

Fresh and ecologically clean eggs are quickly delivered to local markets, meeting the growing demand of domestic consumers. Surplus eggs are exported to Afghanistan, and the company is currently working to expand exports to Kazakhstan, Georgia, Russia, and the United Arab Emirates.
