Turkmen company Türkmen Ýyldyzy is expanding its product line by launching the production of power extension cords in three lengths — 1.5, 3, and 5 meters. The new products are being released to the market under the Gerim brand, according to Neutral Turkmenistan newspaper published on Friday.

The company specializes in the design and maintenance of electrical substations, overhead and cable power lines. Its range of services includes equipment repair and commissioning, testing of electrical systems and batteries, as well as the restoration of electrical systems and batteries, as well as the restoration of electric motors and transformers. The enterprise is also developing in-house production of metal structures, reinforced concrete products, wires and cables.

Its production facilities are capable of producing around 1,300 kilometers of insulated and 107 kilometers of uninsulated aluminum wires and cables per month. All products undergo mandatory lab testing before being sold under the Gerim label.

The company’s product range includes about 40 different items. The launch of extension cord production marks a new direction, although some components are still sourced from external suppliers. The facility is equipped with modern machines for conductor insulation and plug housing molding.

Founded in 2009, Türkmen Ýyldyzy has participated in major projects, including commissioning work at substations in the Balkan and Dashoguz provinces and supporting the power systems of the glycyrrhizic acid plant in Turkmenabat.
