Azerbaijan imported 212.1 million cubic meters of Turkmen natural gas from January to August 2025.
The total cost of the purchases amounted to $32.4 million, Trend reported Wednesday, citing data from the State Statistical Committee.
Overall, during the same period, the country purchased 16.5 billion cubic meters of gas on international markets, at a total cost of $6 billion.
From January to June 2025, Azerbaijan imported 187 million cubic meters of Turkmen natural gas.
