The total outstanding loans issued by Turkmenistan’s credit institutions to businesses, organizations, and the public in the national currency reached 96.496 billion manats as of December 1, 2025. By comparison, total outstanding loans stood at 92.943 billion manats on December 1, 2024, according to the electronic journal Bank Habarlary, published by the Central Bank of Turkmenistan.

As of December 1, 2025, outstanding loans extended to government institutions and enterprises totaled 48.176 billion manats, down from 54.044 billion manats on the same date in 2024.

Loans provided to the country’s private sector in the national currency amounted to 17.901 billion manats as of December 1, 2025, up from 14.428 billion manats a year earlier.

Outstanding loans to individuals and entrepreneurs operating without forming a legal entity totaled 30.419 billion manats during the reporting period, compared with 24.470 billion manats as of December 1, 2024.
