Turkmenistan signed several export agreements for textile supplies with foreign partners during the international Heimtextil 2026 exhibition, held Jan. 13–16 at the Messe Frankfurt exhibition center in Frankfurt am Main, Germany.
According to the Turkmen Foreign Ministry, the agreements were concluded during negotiations between the Turkmen delegation, led by Textile Industry Minister Nurmuhammet Orazgeldiyev, and foreign companies and potential buyers.
The national stand of the Ministry of Textile Industry of Turkmenistan showcased natural cotton products from domestic manufacturers. The display highlighted the high quality, competitiveness and modern design of Turkmen textiles.
Heimtextil is one of the world’s largest events in the home and contract textiles sector, bringing together manufacturers, designers, suppliers and buyers of solutions for residential, hospitality, office and commercial spaces. This year, more than 3,000 exhibitors from 65 countries took part, presenting products ranging from decorative textiles to specialized solutions for the hospitality industry.
