President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov on Friday dismissed and appointed hyakims (district mayors) of several districts, as well as their deputies, according to official Turkmen media.
Under a presidential decree, Bayram Chungayev, hyakim of Bayramaly district of Mary province, was relieved of the post due to a transfer to another position, while Magtymguly Saryyev, hyakim of Turkmengala district of Mary province, was dismissed in connection with retirement.
Azat Gurbanov was appointed hyakim of Turkmenkala district of Mary province, and Merdan Poladov was appointed hyakim of Hojambaz district of Lebap province.
By a separate presidential resolution, Nureddin Sayypov was relieved of duties as acting hyakim of Hojambaz district of Lebap province.
Another resolution dismissed Emirhan Geldiyev from the post of deputy hyakim of Ak Bugday district of Ahal province. Ezizgeldi Ashirov was appointed to this position.
The head of state also signed resolutions appointing Serdar Kakamuradov as deputy hyakim of Tejen district of Ahal province, Gurban Kerimov as deputy hyakim of Koytendag district of Lebap province, Nurjan Nurmedov as deputy hyakim of Darganata district of Lebap province, Berdymurat Ovezberdiyev as deputy hyakim of Dovletli district of Lebap province, and Zakhid Hasanov as deputy hyakim of Farab district of Lebap province. Bayram Chungayev was appointed deputy hyakim of Mary province.
Additionally, the duties of hyakim of Bayramaly district of Mary province were temporarily assigned to Nurmyrat Muhommedov, deputy hyakim of the district.
