The total volume of cashless transactions using bank cards in Turkmenistan from January to March of the current year exceeded 5.2 billion manats, according to the electronic journal Bank habarlary published by the Central Bank of Turkmenistan.
The total volume of cashless payments made through terminals during the reporting period reached 4 billion 150 million 719 thousand 944 manats.
According to the Central Bank, payments made through the “E-commerce” system in January–March exceeded 868 million 262 thousand 398 manats, while transactions via the “Mobile Bank” system surpassed 34 million 998 thousand 26 manats.
The total amount of cashless payments conducted through ATMs exceeded 124 million 750 thousand 189 manats, while transactions via the “Internet Bank” system amounted to 3 million 314 thousand 896 manats.
The report also noted that more than 72 million 163 thousand 669 manats in cashless payments were processed through the Halkbank terminal system.
