Ambassador of Turkmenistan to the Kyrgyz Republic Nury Golliyev, met with Kyrgyz Energy Minister Altynbek Rysbekov on Monday to discuss prospects for expanding bilateral cooperation in the energy sector, the Embassy of Turkmenistan in Kyrgyzstan reported.
During the meeting, the two sides reviewed ways to strengthen cooperation in the energy industry and exchanged views on future areas of collaboration.
Particular attention was given to cooperation in the electricity sector, the fuel and energy complex.
Energy remains one of the key areas of cooperation between Turkmenistan and the Kyrgyz Republic, with both sides continuing to develop bilateral ties and exchange views on perspective areas of interaction.
