Turkmenistan–Georgia Trade Reaches $100 Million in 2025

Trade turnover between Georgia and Turkmenistan increased by 26% in 2025, surpassing $100 million, Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze reported at the opening of the second Turkmen-Georgian Business Forum.

According to 1TV.ge, speaking at the forum, Kobakhidze noted Georgia and Turkmenistan remain stable and reliable trading partners, adding that the positive momentum in bilateral economic cooperation has continued this year.

"Today, Georgia and Turkmenistan are stable and reliable trading partners. Last year, trade turnover between our countries increased by 26% to exceed $100 million and this positive trend has continued this year," Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze said.

The Georgian Prime minister also highlighted the state visit of Turkmen President Serdar Berdimuhamedov to Georgia, describing it as a reflection of mutual trust and the strategic importance of bilateral cooperation.

Kobakhidze said the current level of trade and economic ties does not yet fully reflect the potential of the two countries. He called for greater joint efforts to expand cooperation, strengthen business links and make fuller use of the partnership opportunities between Georgia and Turkmenistan.
