Uzbek company Pipe Metal is ready to establish long-term cooperation in the Turkmen market and increase regular supplies of metal products, company representative Alisher Abdurakhmanov said at the Turkmen-Uzbek business forum in Ashgabat, according to Turkmenistan’s official media.
According to Abdurakhmanov, cooperation with Turkmenistan is at an early stage, with the company recently completing its first successful shipment of metal products to the country. Pipe Metal also maintains business ties with partners in Tajikistan and Kazakhstan.
Pipe Metal manufactures electric-welded, water and gas pipes, various types of steel rolled products and hot-rolled steel sheets. According to the company, raw steel materials used in production are supplied from Russia and Kazakhstan, while finished products are certified in line with national standards.
Abdurakhmanov noted that Turkmenistan is experiencing steady economic growth, with large-scale construction of industrial, social and cultural facilities creating strong demand for high-quality building materials. He added that the geographical proximity of the two countries helps reduce logistics costs.
