Oil from Turkmenistan and Kazakhstan transported through the Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan (BTC) pipeline totaled 2.6185 million tons in January-July 2026.

According to AZERTAC, citing Azerbaijan’s State Statistics Committee, oil from Turkmenistan and Kazakhstan accounted for 17.7% of the total volume transported through the BTC pipeline during the period.

The pipeline transported 14.7732 million tons of oil in January-July, including 12.1547 million tons, or 82.3%, of oil produced in Azerbaijan.

The 1,768-kilometer Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan pipeline transports crude oil from the Caspian Sea to the Mediterranean. It starts in Baku, Azerbaijan, passes through Georgia and ends at the Turkish port of Ceyhan on the Mediterranean coast.
