The registration deadline for private companies interested in participating in the CAREC Business Forum 2026 has been extended to August 31. The, the forum’s organizer Asian Development Bank (ADB) announced the extension.
The forum will be held in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, on Sept. 30-Oct. 1 as part of the 25th Ministerial Conference of the Central Asia Regional Economic Cooperation (CAREC) Program. The ADB serves as the CAREC Program Secretariat and is organizing the business forum.
The Forum's first day will focus on the theme "Unlocking Investment for Infrastructure Transformation," while the second day will center on "Mongolia in the Regional Spotlight." The program includes three sector-specific subforums — Energy & Interconnectivity, Smart Transport & Logistics, and Critical Minerals — aimed at expanding investment opportunities and addressing barriers to private sector-led infrastructure development.
The forum will also feature high-level plenary sessions, expert discussions, and business-to-business (B2B) and business-to-government (B2G) meetings. Participants will have opportunities to engage directly with senior government officials from CAREC countries, representatives of companies from Asia and Europe, regional investors, ADB leadership and development partners.
