I Week of September: SCRMET transactions reach $38.5 million

A total $38.5 million transactions were concluded this week at the auctions of the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan (SCRMET), the exchange reported.

Businesses from the United Arab Emirates, Türkiye, Azerbaijan, Kyrgyzstan and Singapore purchased low-sulfur fuel oil, Portland cement, dried unprocessed licorice root, cotton yarn, bleached cotton fabric, cotton and denim fabrics.

In addition, local businesses purchased construction petroleum bitumen, cotton fiber, raw silk, cotton yarn and fabrics for the domestic market, with a total value of 140 million 311,100 manats.

A total of 22 deals were concluded at the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan this week.
