Turkmenistan will build a vegetable oil production plant in Garashsyzlyk etrap, Dashoguz velayat, with an annual processing capacity of 60,000 metric tons of industrial cottonseed, Turkmen state media reported on Thursday.
President Serdar Berdimuhamedov signed a resolution authorizing the State Association of Food Industry to conclude a contract for the design and construction of the new facility.
The project also includes landscaping and improvement of the area surrounding the plant.
The facility is intended to support the development of the food industry, increase the processing of agricultural raw materials and introduce modern production technologies.
