Turkmenistan and Belarus discuss the prospects of joint production of medicine and expanding cooperation in healthcare sector and pharmaceutical industry, Belarusian Telegraph Agency reports.
The Ministry of Health and Medical Industry of Turkmenistan recently hosted top executives of the Belarusian ZAO BelAseptika. The meeting was attended by Ambassador of Belarus to Turkmenistan Oleg Tabanyukhov and Turkmen Health and Medical Industry Minister Nurmuhammet Amannepesov.
The representatives of the Belarusian company explored possible options for cooperation between BelAseptika and Turkmendermansenagat, the state pharmaceutical association of Turkmenistan.
According to BelTA, the sides expressed interest in medicinal herbs trade between two countries, as well as purchasing and supplying natural and synthetized ingredients to produce medications and ready-to-use drugs. BelAseptika and the Turkmen state pharmaceutical association may consider jointly manufacturing medications.
BelAseptika is a leading Belarusian manufacturer of antiseptics, disinfectants, washing and cleaning agents made for professional use. The company also produces medicines and medical devices.
Turkmendermansenagat pharmaceutical association includes several pharmaceutical manufacturers and agro-industrial complexes. The enterprises of the association produce over 400 types of medicines and medical products.
