The first Caspian Economic Forum set for August 12 this year was the subject of the international media forum held at the Archabil Hotel on Saturday.
The media forum was attended by the representatives of the ministries and specialized institutions of the country, foreign and national mass media representatives, political scientists, as well as journalism students.
Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan B.Matiev, Deputy Minister of Industry and Communications of Turkmenistan B.Annamammedov, Deputy Chief of the Türkmenawtoýollary Agency of the Ministry of Industry and Communications D. Garayev, Deputy Head of the Türkmengaz State Concern A.Charyev ane Deputy Head of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Turkmenistan D. Redzhepov made speeches at forum.
Speakers noted the importance of the first Caspian Economic Forum in further strengthening the relations and cooperation among Caspian countries.
The first Caspian Economic Forum in Turkmenistan will be held on the anniversary of an agreement on the legal status of the Caspian Sea on August 12 in the country's Avaza national tourist zone, a resort in the east of the Caspian Sea. Forum aims to accelerate economic, trade and investment cooperation in Caspian Sea and nearby regions.
