The 28th annual session of the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly kicked-off in Luxembourg on Thursday. On the first day of the session, the agenda and a number of resolutions were approved, which are expected to be adopted by military-political, economic and humanitarian committees, the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan reports.
On Friday, the Second Committee on economic issues considered a draft resolution presented by the Republic of Belarus. The resolution is named “Strategic Foresight for Science, Technology and Innovation for Sustainable Development.” The Turkmen side supported this project as the co-sponsor.
The Republic of Belarus expressed its gratitude to the Turkmen side.
The meeting of the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly will continue till July 8, 2019.
