The number of cattle skins processed at the Gokdepe tannery has reached 17 thousand 900 pieces per year, and the number of skins of small-ground cattle - up to 21 thousand 600. The figure is 87% of the plant’s annual capacity. It has been achieved as a result of the work of 46 specialists of the plant.
The plant, located 8-10 km northwest of the etrap center, was reconstructed by the efforts of Soyunmyrat Rejepov, a native of the nearby village of Turkmenistan farmers association.
The director of the Gokdepe tannery Hajymyrat Ataballyev noted that the plant has also launched the production of leather products.
The project for sewing camel wool blanket was another success. For the project, it was enough to equip the workshop of the enterprise with a cotton processing unit.
The company's team is working effectively to ensure that leather slippers, belts, covers, key chains and a wide range of souvenirs become the brand of the plant.
