Turkmenistan Made Statement on CIS Summit Outcomes at OSCE Meeting
Turkmen delegation noted that during the Summit, the participants exchanged views on cooperation on the CIS space.

The delegation of Turkmenistan made a statement at the meeting of the OSCE Permanent Council on the outcome of the Summit of CIS Heads of States, Turkmen Foreign Ministry announced Thursday.

Turkmen delegation noted that during the Summit, the participants exchanged views on cooperation on the CIS space and highly appreciated the ongoing joint activities aimed at achieving higher levels of multilateral collaboration.

The delegation of Turkmenistan to the OSCE informed the Council about the following adopted decisions and declarations:

Ashgabat Declaration on the Strategic Economic Partnership of the CIS participating states, Programme of Actions to intensify partnership between the CIS foreign-policy agencies, and Address by the Heads of CIS participating states to the peoples of the Commonwealth and the world community in connection with the 75th anniversary of the Victory of the Soviet people in the 1941-1945 Great Patriotic War.

Ashgabat hosted the meetings of the Council of Foreign Ministers and the Council of Heads of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) countries on October 10-11, in the framework of Turkmenistan’s CIS chairmanship in 2019.

2022
