Ahmet Haýdar Enterprise Expects to Harvest 750 Tons of Tomatoes
Ahmet Haýdar enterprise harvested more than 220 tons of tomatoes from a 1,5 hectare greenhouse over the six-month working season last year and exported 75% of it to foreign markets.

Ahmet Haýdar private enterprise planted 69,8 thousand tomato bushes on 3 hectares of land, divided into 4 separate plots, from which it expects to receive 750 tons of crops this year.

The farmers of the enterprise located in the Lebap velayat’s Charjou etrap were able to collect more than 220 tons of tomatoes from a 1,5 hectare greenhouse over the six-month working season last year. The enterprise, which exported 75% of the harvest, has successfully completed the annual plan.

Specialists of an individual enterprise planted 17,450 bushes of Bantida tomatoes brought from Turkey in each of the 4 plots and are currently providing them with proper care.

The farmers plan to start the harvest on November 5-10. The enterprise will export most of the tomatoes to Russia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, and will also deliver them to domestic markets of the country.
