Bagtly Gadam Manufactures Products From Its First Cotton Harvest
The enterprise produces about 50 thousand pairs of socks from about 13.5 tons of yarns per day.

Batly Gadam private enterprise harvests cotton from 1.75 thousand hectares of land for the first time, Rysgal newspaper reports.

The State allocated more than 11 thousand hectares of land in the territory of the Serdar etrap of the Balkan velayat to the enterprise. Up till now, the enterprise planted crops on 8.827 hectares of land, 1.75 thousand hectares of which were planted with cotton.

Thus, a company specializing in the production of socks and yarn provides itself with raw materials. Demand for products is steadily growing, both in the domestic and foreign markets.

The enterprise has so far exported tens of tons of yarn to Turkey, Belarus, Russia and Iran and delivered thousands of pairs of socks of various colors to Russia, Azerbaijan, Belarus and Iran. All products of Batly Gadam comply with the requirements of the International Organization for Standardization (ISO).

At the spinning workshop of the enterprise, about 13.5 tons of yarns are produced per day. The products then enter the dyeing shop, where they acquire different colors. Of these threads, which pass a special laboratory testing, about 50 thousand pairs of hosiery products are produced per day. The products are distributed in the domestic market, and surplus is exported to foreign markets.

The company currently employs 250 specialists. It will grow to 600 once the factory reaches its full design capacity.
